Sometimes Things Move Fast

I got a surprise message in my work e-mail this morning, and now, about 12 hours later, I am under contract to teach in Korea this summer. So now, for the first time, I get to apply for an international work visa. Incredible! That was a long time coming.

If you haven't read the previous post, please do so before proceeding. Believe it or not, I've already heard from the gallery owners. They winter nearby. Of course. (?!...) And their featured artist was a previous professor of art at my university. Deja vu all over again!

Small World!

I have a vanity tag on my vehicle proclaiming my love for our summer place. This afternoon I parked my car more than 1,000 miles away to make a quick stop at a market. When I came out, I noticed a flyer tucked behind my windshield wiper. Then I did a double take, my annoyance changing to astonishment. It was for a gallery I've visited in Door County! No idea who left it for me--no one else in the parking lot had one--but I'll be taking my story to the gallery come summer!
