One Down, Eight to Go

It's been a whirlwind here. Did my first presentation yesterday. Last evening was a fancy VIP dinner, although I'm rather uncertain how there can be 44 tables of VIP's. The event included traditional music performances and a 10-course meal. (I'm also attaching photos of the oh-so-chic venue and its service desk with attitude.) Both nights I've been up and out past midnight having great conversations with my European colleagues. All very stimulating. I am up too early this morning. I need to repack my heavy suitcase and move on, via train, to another city. There I will be hosted in a private home, which is a first for me and a real treat. I have two more presentations before leaving the country.
