After all my whining about Florida's lingering summer heat and humidity, I've experienced quite a change here. This morning I put on socks and shoes (no flipflops) and pants and a long-sleeved shirt and a sweater and a quilted jacket and a scarf and a knitted cap and gloves. Then I grabbed my umbrella and walked to school in cold, rainy, blustery weather that would typically keep me indoors in Florida. And I could see my breath all the way! I wonder if the solar flashlight on my keychain is going to die a miserable death in England...
And today was a lovely autumn day. We walked for miles, and I was comfortable in my sweater.
