Hard, harder, HARDEST. With a pillow that could be mistaken for a cinder block. Life in Korea has given me a wet bathroom and a rock hard bed. Nonetheless, I collapsed shortly after 8:00 last evening and slept for eight hours before having to get up to take Ibuprofen. I tried to get back to sleep but simply couldn't lie in bed any longer. It is the worst bed I've ever slept on--including the sandbag bed on a cement base in Mexico--and has me longing for my comfortable beds back home. I understand some Korean people sleep on their heated floors in the winter. Perhaps that's why they are able to tolerate such hard beds.
