When I visited last time, a Korean friend told me that Korea has an affinity with Italy. She explained that both countries are peninsulas, and they both like garlic and noodles. So it came as no surprise to see lots of pizza and pasta places around the university today. After a soggy tromp across campus in torrential rains, I decided to pick up dinner to go on the way home. I ducked into a place and ordered pasta with red sauce for under $5. It had its own Korean touches, with sauce that was both savory and sweet, and it came with a side of pickles. (No, I didn't. That would be wrong.) The pizza combos are even more.....uh...mixed. Which would you choose?

You are beginning to be very Korean indeed...
